The Dictator

I recently seen the dictator in theatres and I was not expecting much because the commercials did not seem that good for it, but nothing else was playing so I went and seen that. I was very surprised to find myself laughing the entire time! It was such a comical yet interesting movie. The movie is about a dictator named Aladeen (Sacha Baron Cohen) that tries to overthrow the entire country and the people are outraged by the way he treats them. He is sent to the USA and his famous recognizeable beard is cut off and nobody even knows who he is anymore, he has to make it as an everyday person and he does it so humorisly. I recommend this movie to anyone who is probably over the age of 14 or so since some parts aren't really for children, it was an overall great movie experience!

American Reunion

I recently watched the movie American Reunion in theatres and it was actually such a funny movie, although not child appropriate, very hilarious!
This movie is a sequal to the American Pie movies, the characters are grown up and returning to their hometown for their 10th school reunion, hence the name of the movie. It happened to be a lot funnier than I expected, since the other movies I got my hopes up and was disappointed my hopes were not high, and I turned out to be surprised. If you enjoyed the frst few American Pie movies, and the characters in them then you will definitely enjoy this sequal!

21 Jump Street

I recently seen the movie 21 Jump Street in theatres, and it was honestly one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It is about two cops who suck at being actual cops, so are recruited to a team of undercover cops. The main characters are Jonah Hill, who plays Schmidt, an overweight genuis who was not all that popular in high school, and Channing Tatum who plays Jenko, the typical dumb, good looking jock. The two cops did not get along in high school, but are later partners in crime, and become the best of friends. They are sent into a high school to do a drug bust, but first have to make friends with the students to find out the where abouts of the drugs, I will not ruin the ending but this movie is highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a thrilling comedy, or anyone who likes to look at Channing Tatum as much as i do. :)

Limitless

The first movie I am going to assess is Limitless. I honestly do not think I even have anything bad to say about this movie, usually I am checking tweets and facebook at the same time while watching a movie, but this one was different, I couldn't look away! It had me hooked from start to finish. Bradley Cooper is the protagonist and does a very well job acting throughout the whole movie, while looking good at the same time ;). This movie is about a man who is introduced to a "smart pill" that causes him to use 100% of his brain and he becomes a genius! He writes a book in four days and could out smart any lawyer or scientist. Cooper has to overcome many obstacles and struggles throughout the movie but pulls through them all, I won't give away the ending but I highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a thrilling action movie!

Here We Go

I chose to do a blog of interest on reviewing movies because I'm pretty good at criticizing things, because I do that a lot, and deciding what is wrong and what is good about them. I watch a lot of movies so I figured it would be pretty easy to just create a blog talking about what I liked and disliked about certain movies. So here's my blog about what I like and dislike movies!
